extending UMLStaticHelper works fine, but maybe it is an even better idea to add a UMLDynamicHelper to the kernel (any 'static' functionality could be delegated to the UMLStaticHelper, rather than by extending it) More cartridges could make use of the dynamic features that way. cheers Wouter.
