What should I do about the following problem:

I am doing cartridge development on AndroMDA 2.x and do not plan to do
cartridge development for 3.x until 3.x is stable. I need a place to
check-in 2.x cartridge development. I would like to check it into the
AndroMDA project, but the way things are setup right now it is not possible.

Should I create a seperate sourceforge project for where I can do 2.x
cartridge development? Right now I am doing it in an unrelated sourceforge
project where I have CVS space (timetowork).

Tony.

models)

Hi Wouter,

this is a real good conincidence! Today, I finally had time to look at
your sources. I think the cartridge-specific script helper is very
promising as it contains all the functions which are needed for the
cartridge to work properly. You also extended Tony's UMLStaticHelper in
the core - if it's still like that, I'd suggest you wait with this
because I'd like to reason a little about where all those methods should
be placed. Maybe, we'll need a UMLDynamicHelper class, I'm not sure
yet...

In the meantime, I've also found a new name for the cartridge:
"andromda-bpm4struts" (bpm stands for "business process modeling") -
what do you think about that name? If you agree, it would be nice if you
checked this into CVS under the directory
"cartridges/andromda-bpm4struts". (In the future, we can also write an
"andromda-bpm4swing" cartridge that can generate client-side Swing code
from exactly the same UML PIMs.)

Tomorrow, I'll have some time to look at all this. Please do not be
upset if I refactor your cartridge because meanwhile I know how to model
and translate the two level hierarchy that those b+m AG people presented
at the JAX2003 conference (macro-activities and micro-activities). It
would be nice if you could check all this in today, so that I can work
on it tomorrow.

BTW, do you have a sample to demonstrate the new cartridge?

Thanks...
Matthias
