Well, I think it would take you about two to three months (part time),
most of the time is spent learning. Start with the principles of MDR
(see the separate email that I sent you which contains some pointers).
Then, think about generating metamodel decorators for UML 1.3 instead of
UML 1.4. The rest is a matter of abstracting away the metamodel
differences before they reach the templates.
