Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: MAVEN-9
Summary: flag to stop after andromda:run validation failure
Type: New Feature
Status: Open
Priority: Major
Original Estimate: Unknown
Time Spent: Unknown
Remaining: Unknown
Project: Maven Plugins
Components:
APP
Assignee: Chad Brandon
Reporter: Wouter Zoons

Description:
it would be nice if we had the possiblity to specify a flag to the andromda task (in
mda/project.xml that is) that would specify whether or not to stop when andromda:run
finishes with validation errors
the reason is that sometimes everything happens so quickly on the console that one
does not have the time to properly read the validation errors without scrolling
stopping the build in that case would alert the user some things require a fix in the
UML model
does this make sense, does it exist yet ?
