I was actually thinking the same thing too when I released this last time.  
However its not only the UML profile (that happens only in the samples).  The 
UMLMetafacade model is the one that needs to be updated in all cartridge 
metafacade models.  The test models point to the non versioned profile so those 
don't need to be updated.
