Hi Matthias and all,

thanks for welcoming me on board!

I'd like to take this opportunity to aquaint you with the features of your new
teammate (yes, I do work for a company that is involved in airline business):

Personal:
- born on 18.11.1974 - 30yrs old
- married to Anne
- two sons: Sren Jonathan (4yrs), Lennart Elia (1.5yrs)
- living in Norderstedt near Hamburg

Education:
- studied Wirtschaftsinformatik (computer sciences and economics) at the
Nordakademie (www.nordakademie.de)

Job:
- worked for a company specialising in office products when I was 16, learned C
back then
- semi-professional experience with all kinds of Basic (GWBasic, QuickBasic,
VisualBasic)
- professional experience with Delphi (2, 3, 5, 6 and 2005)
- started working for Lufthansa Systems in 1996 (during my studies)
- full time contract with Lufthansa Systems since 2000
- Java since 2001
- chief developer for a 75000+ LOCs Java enterprise framework (2002 - 2004)
- first used AndroMDA 2.x in an internal project in 2004
- since 2004: architect for a large MDA driven project at a customer of
Lufthansa Systems

Hobbies:
- listening to music
- playing music (acoustic guitar, e-bass in a christian worship band)

If you have any further questions, just go ahead and ask. I'll be at the
openArchitecture conference later this year, so there might be a chance to met
personally.

Since we are heavily using the AndroMDA Spring & Hibernate Cartridges in our
current project, I expect that I and maybe some of my colleagues will be
contributing quite a number of new and cool features (currently, I am thinking
of the hibernate audit log) and help fix existing bugs. I guess I will not be
abled to invest as much time as Chad and Wouter can, but I'll try my very best.

Viele Gruesse aus Hamburg,
Peter
