Wouter Zoons updated BPM-170:
-----------------------------

    Version: 3.0 RC1

would it make sense to replace the current strategy (messages in request)
entirely ? so by simply putting all messages in the session scope ?

Are you sure this is compatible with the existing feature ? If you confirm
today I'll implement this before RC2 is released

> Struts 1.2.4 introduced the capability to put ActionMessages in the session
> as opposed to the request. This is achieved by calling
> Action.saveMessages(HttpSession, ActionMessages) instead of
> Action.saveMessages(HttpServletRequest, ActionMessages). Upon the first
> access to the messages they are effectively removed from the session. This
> allows messages to be retained when using the redirect after post pattern.
> Currently action messages are not displayed after a redirect.
