Mysterious AndroMDA Ant Tool in andromda-bin-3.1-M1
---------------------------------------------------

         Key: ANT-25
         URL: http://jira.andromda.org/browse/ANT-25
     Project: Ant
        Type: Bug
Environment: Windows XP Prof., jdk 1.4.2, ant 1.6.5
    Reporter: Peter Empen
 Assigned to: Martin West

in ant\readme.txt you promise an "option for those users who don't want to use
Maven" but I don't have it yet.
Running build.xml from this location results in creating a lib folder and
calling a runner which stays in memory (see also ANT-23). But what does this
"ant tool" do? I couldn't find any user documentation on it.

"To successfully build your new application, you must do two things:
1) Copy the resulting lib directory to the directory of your newly generated
application."
Ok, I have copied it to samples\animal-quiz as well as crud for further testing.

"2) Change to your newly generated application directory and type 'ant' and
you'll
see your new AndroMDA application Ant application being built!"
If I type ant, no build.xml is found. So I created to run into new problems
which I will report in a separate issue.

Still no idea what your ant tool is good for. Can I use ant to generate code
based on one of the samples with Ant? Please supply adequate information and
ant skripts.
