Enumerations do only work for string types (if hibernate 3 is enabled)
----------------------------------------------------------------------

         Key: HIB-175
         URL: http://jira.andromda.org/browse/HIB-175
     Project: Hibernate Cartridge
        Type: Bug

    Versions: 3.2-RC1
    Reporter: Jens Vagts
 Assigned to: Carlos Cuenca
    Priority: Blocker

The new support for hibernate 3 xml persistence (added 2006-02-04 to the
snapshot), does only work for java.lang.String typed enumerations. All other
types do generate invalid code in methods objectToSQLString(), toXMLString()
and fromXMLString()!
