Wouter Zoons commented on BPM-281:
----------------------------------

when figuring out ways to model application tiers we always try to use features
that are common in most UML tools, with a slight preference for tools that are
also open-source such as ArgoUML, current you are probably simply dupicating
the expression entry into the name, is that correct ? I guess it would be
possible to allow both anyway

> Use ActionExpression from entry Action of ActionState instead of name

> The UML 1.4 spec says that ActionStates are "normally anonymous" and that the
> text displayed on the diagram should be the entry action expression (section
> 3.85). The BPM4Struts cartridge appears to be using the action state's name
> instead of the action expression as the significant value which creates
> problems for users modeling with tools that follow the spec.
> Instead of using the value of actionState.name, the cartridge should use
> actionState.entry.script.body. I understand that for backward compatibility
> it may be desirable to return this value as the "name" so that existing code
> continues to work.
