Bob Fields commented on ANDROMDAPP-34: -------------------------------------- Even if the patching utility is fixed and the profiles are removed from AndroMDA, it would mean that anybody who builds andromda from source will need to have MagicDraw 9.5 installed, or at least the profiles deployed locally, otherwise andromda will fail trying to find the related profiles when loading the metafacade and test models. I agree that the MagicDraw_Profile is proprietary, but not the UML_Standard or Java profiles, those are standard profiles used in many different products. Unfortunately, MagicDraw automatically adds the MagicDraw profile to every model even if removed, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to remove it other than manually editing the xml file from inside the .xml.zip file. The UML2 versions or Standard and Java profiles are open source and included in the UML Resource library. Suggestions for a workaround to remove MagicDraw profile? Edit each model manually after saving? > Misplaced version number for UML_Standard_Profile.xml > ----------------------------------------------------- > > Key: ANDROMDAPP-34 > URL: http://jira.andromda.org/browse/ANDROMDAPP-34 > Project: AndroMDApp Project Generator > Type: Bug > Reporter: Matthias Bohlen > Assignee: Bob Fields > > When I generate a new project using andromdapp:generate, I get a MagicDraw > UML file which points to a profile called UML_Standard_Profile-3.2.xml. > This profile does not exist.
