what do you mean with entry, and what do you mean with row ?
The main crud form shows a table listing the result (I assume) when
you hit 'Search'. Each row represents an entity of the type you are
currently managing. How do I load the entity into the form allowing
me to update/delete it?

well, you should be able to click 'copy' and the values from that row
should be copied into the input fields
then you can change them hit 'update' to persist the changes into the
datasource
this does not work for you ?
No - at first I assumed that this was the way things were supposed to
work. However I will rebuild with the build from tonight and try again.
