Sorry, I was getting confused with CVS tags.

samples/hibernate-template/build.xml has Hibernate 2 compatible class names
etc in version 1.2.2.2 which is tagged V212_final and V211_final.

Hibernate 1.X code is still in build.xml 1.2, which has a number of V3x_MMD
related tags, as well as HEAD.

When you merge the V3x_MMD work back into HEAD, I think the problem will be
fixed.
