Thanks Ricardo, The thing is that the bpm4struts cartridge never officially has been released, but I can promise you that the v3 release will be a lot better in terms of user friendlyness (less to model) and generated code (more xdoclet tags + extra features: true i18n, Javascript form validation + server validation of request parameters, roles-based security, etc...)
The only thing I am afraid of is that, although I only stick to the UML specs and I am not going into proprietary extensions, not much CASE tools are able to support the features I need ... at least MagicDraw can do the job To give you an idea, you will only need to model the activity graph (!), all information can be conveyed in there. A single class is required to model the action class methods ... so per use-case: 1 activity graph + 1 class, that's even less than before I have been thinking about a good design for weeks now, balancing between the strict UML conventions, ease of use, flexibility and generic UI requirements ... I have tested several alternatives (by implementing all of them) and am confident I now have a good one. I'm committed to posting here when the bpm4struts CVS is updated again (like you said, lots of changes in the core too) Stay tuned Wouter. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:andromda-user- > [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ricardo Temporal > Sent: Wednesday, March 03, 2004 10:08 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [Andromda-user] RE: Andromda-user digest, Vol 1 #306 - 2 msgs > > Hello, > > I've been watching andromda for some time, and first of all, I need to > say > that it's a very good job. > > I see there is a lot of changes happening in andromda core.
