If we changed only the name, we would be lying. ;-) No, the pattern has changed. The MMFs do *not* implement the metaclass interfaces any more - MMDs implemented them. We decided to change this because the interfaces became too large and unusable. Another point is that the facades will shield the metamodel from the templates so that the metamodel can be replaced, we can go from UML 1.4 to UML 1.3 or to UML 2.0. > Is your resoning behind the change available somewhere, > it would be very interesting to know how it evolved.
