We had an ArgoUML support discussion recently. My understanding was that the following metamodel are not supported out of the box (because the metamodel facades are missing).
* UML 1.1 metamodel (Silverrun Modelsphere) * UML 1.3 metamodel (ArgoUML & others) * UML 2.0 metamodell (Metamill)
correct me if I am wrong ...

I would qualify this affirmation: it cannot be used with bpm4struts cartridge. It might be possible to use with other cartridges like the hibernate or ejb cartridge. From what i remember one needs only class diagrams to use it.
Did you try to test it with a project without the web side (even deactivate the bpm4struts cartridge) ? :)
