Hi Ingo,

Yes, we do have plans to support it, but at the moment there aren't any good
repositories (like MDR or EMF) that support it in a standard way, once they
do (or if you can point us to one that does)...we'll add support for it.

Subject: [Andromda-user] Support of UML 2.0 based on MOF 2.0

Hello,

I am starting a new MDA project for my master paper based on andromda to
generate arbitrary SWT rich clients. There for I would like to use UML
2.0 since the OMG had finalized it on 5th November. I know it is still
nothing about this on the OMG page, but Karl Frank from Borland who is
in the OMG UML 2.0 team mentioned it during his keynote at the W-JAX
2004 conference.

So, are there any plans to support UML 2.0? First I though I could take
eclipse EMF and uml2 implementation to replace MDR, but the EMF
framework only support MOF 1.4 and not MOF 2.0. (Do not ask me what that
really means :-) ).
So once again, can anybody tell me if there any plans to support UML 2.0
based on “XMI 2.1” MOF 2.0?

Thx
Ingo
