I was thinking 'cleaner' because of the centralized way of specifying
classifier types, the modifier is too PSM for me .. if you want to support
it you'll probably need to include a mapping for it too for it to remain
PIM

the advantage would be that we wouldn't need to include all array types
for the datatypes, that's nice .. but is this feature supported by most
UML tools ? I see that Poseidon does not allow it, it includes all array
datatypes.

anyway, I guess it can never hurt to support it :-)
