Subject: andromda + problem

                Dear Mr. Brandon,

I am trying out androMDA generation tool however I always face
certain
problems and do not get the expected result. It is mostly a problem with the

modeling tools.

Poseidon - there is no way to make Poseidon use <<Entity>> instead
of
<<entity>>. If i put <<entity>> i get no generated code. If i change the
.xmi
file manually i get a validation error.

[CB] You can create stereotypes within Poseidon (you don't need to manually
change the XMI). Just create a new <<Entity>> stereotype and then assign it
to your class.

Magic Draw UML - there is no option to export the file as an .xmi. I
can get
an .xml file and renaming it results in some error as well.

[CB] Actually the XMI is inside the stored model...its just a zip file with
the extension "xml.zip". So what you can do is either unzip this file and
point to the XMI inside it, or (easier and recommended) just point to the
XMI file inside the xml.zip file, for example (this is taken from the
animal-quiz/mda/project.properties):
maven.andromda.model.uri=jar:file:${maven.src.dir}/uml/AnimalQuiz.xml.zip!/A
nimalQuiz.xml

I would appreciate if would help me.

        Thank you for your time.

        Sincerely,
                        Aram Hovsepyan.
