my fault, jira was down when I wanted to reply to you with the link .. and
so I forgot about it

anyway, that topic has already been touched and you can find more about it
here: http://galaxy.andromda.org:8080/jira/browse/UMLMETA-6

you can try adding it yourself, I tried it once and wasn't happy with the
result, it was working for the case I tried it for but I was also sure it
would fail horribly in other cases (runtime exceptions), second reason was
that the code was depending on side-effects ..

send me a patch and I'll take a look at applying it

>> Objet : [Andromda-user] Problem generating association classes
>>
>>
>> Hi,
>>
>> AndroMDA has a weird behavior regarding association classes,
>> and I don't
>> know whether it is a bug or a feature. I am using version
>> 3.0M3 and modeling
>> with MagicDraw 9 Standard Edition.
>>
>> Association classes don't seem to be recognised as such. I am
>> writing a
>> custom interface oriented template in which I would like to
>> add support for
>> association classes. For its creation, I have studied and
>> tried the java
>> cartridge, hibernate cartridge and spring cartridge as a
>> reference but, in
>> all of them, the association ends don't get generated in the
>> association
>> class 's source.
>>
>> If that feature is present in the latest SNAPSHOT version,
>> please tell me so
>> and ignore the rest of this email :) If that is the case
>> though, could you
>> please tell me if it is possible to backport that feature to
>> 3.0M3, since I
>> must use the latest non SNAPSHOT dependency.
>>
>> I have created a little example to highlight my problem,
>> based on the well
>> known java Locale class, I have joined the UML diagram, a
>> screenshot and the
>> expected generated source files. In each file, I have
>> highlighted the piece
>> of code that is not generated but that I would like to see generated.
>>
>> I have also joined my custom template in which I would like to add the
>> association class support: DOInterface.dsl
>>
>> I would greatly appreciate your help,
>>
>> Thanx for your time,
>>
