Anyway I still have a question in relation with XMI: I can open XMI files from MagicDraw in Poseidon, no problem (without diagram). But I cannot open XMI file from Poseidon in MagicDraw CE (another way around). Is this a bug or a feature of MagicDraw CE? ;-)
Hmm you should be able to (I've done it before)...what happens when you try it?
MagicDraw only supports UNISYS XMI 1.0:
java.io.IOException: Wrong XMI Version. MagicDraw only supports UNISYS XMI 1.0 at com.nomagic.magicdraw.i.c.bn.a(bn.java:227) at com.nomagic.magicdraw.i.c.bn.a(bn.java:849) at com.nomagic.magicdraw.i.v.a(v.java:426) at com.nomagic.magicdraw.i.v.a(v.java:54) at com.nomagic.magicdraw.i.ba.execute(ba.java:511) at com.nomagic.e.d.c(d.java:119) at com.nomagic.e.f.run(f.java:149) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
I use Poseidon 2.6.x CE and MagicDraw 9.5 CE.
When Magic Draw asks if you if you want to open up the file as Unisys XMI, you need to select "No".
