I've looked at it too but I think it's overhyped, sure Spring is nice

I'm less interested in other MVC frameworks than I was before  

Andromda. An MVC framework that's a little easier to hand code than  

Struts no longer has an advantage now that I don't have to hand code  

Struts.

If we take your point to its logical extreme it is the same as saying, 
"middle-tier evolution is irrelevant".

Is it really the case that all further attempts to improve middle-tier design 
are merely academic?



I'm too new to this to make that assumption.



Perhaps the next task for the AndroMDA team is to define a new set of xDoclet 
tags for middle-tier designers to stick in their source code from which 
AndroMDA cartridges can be generated automatically.   [Shocked]
