That's what we were planning to do ... but i'm quite lazy :) and we will most probably have 2-3 different layouts used through the application ... using AndroMDA makes me think that everything could be done automagically ! I quite agree with you that UML is not the right place for style/layout ... but there should be a right place for it (no, i dont know which place ... but I'm going to find out !).
