Thanks for your answer ! Unfortunately, it doesnt seems to work, even with 
flush="false".



I have put some trace with log4j in my code, and analyse the displaytag logs as 
well. It seems I completely misunderstood the way displaytag works. I thought 
the table data was reloaded everytime the table was sorted. It doesnt seem to 
be the case : my loadData method is called only once (both in the case where it 
work and where it doesnt work).



I still havent found where this data is saved between request (probably in the 
user session) neither why it isnt saved in my second case ...



I'll keep searching, maybe with the help of the displaytag forums ...
