Hy,

i worked with AndroMDA 2 and Poseidon UML 2 and 3 before. I did not have many
problems, at least not in the very beginning.

But as AndroMDA grew to Version 3 and got more flexible, i am running in some
problems with my own UML-Diagram. Errors:

Quote:
ERROR [AndroMDA:VALIDATION:ERROR] 1) [model 1::com::myown::Attachment]:If the
hibernate identifier generator class is set as 'increment', 'identity',
'sequence', 'hilo', 'seqhilo' or 'native', your mapped identifier type must
resolve to a long (long or java.lang.Long) , an int (int or java.lang.Integer),
or a short (short or java.lang.Short).

ERROR [AndroMDA:VALIDATION:ERROR] 2) [model ::com::myown::Attachment]:All
attributes of an entity (other than enumerations and embedded values) must be
of UML DataType.
(end of quote)

I already deleted the java-DataType-Classes in Poseidons-Model. Merging the
Andromda-Profile as described under did not work at all (Poseidon with latest
Version 3.0.1 is just doing nothing if pointed to the file).

So i tried to insert the Datatypes from the andromda-profile-xmi myself. As i
can say my XMI-content looks very similar to the profile-xmi, if viewed by my
editor.

As no other post with this topic exists it seems there should be a simple way
to avoid these problems.

Thx for any hint/help

Frank
