MyEntityDao myEntityDao = (MyEntityDao)factory.getBean("myEntityDao");
MyEntity myEntity = myEntityDao.create(firstName, lastName); myEntity.setSomeRelationShip(someOtherObject); myEntityDao.update(myEntity); That one is better because the DAO insulates you from the fact that you're using hibernate behind the scenes (the other one is hibernate specific). Regarding "millions of DAOs", why should you even care? MDA allows us to not care about that crap...all you do is implement your business operations. -- Chad Brandon - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.andromda.org _________________________________________________________ Reply to the post : http://galaxy.andromda.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1675#1675 Posting to http://forum.andromda.org/ is preferred over posting to the mailing list! ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Discover Easy Linux Migration Strategies from IBM.
