Actually, I thought that I was using my container datasource, but I had a look at applicationContext.datasource.xml and it seems that I instead use just the project.properties :
dataSource.driver.jar=${maven.repo.local}/postgresql/jars/postgresql-7.4.1-jdbc3.jar dataSource.driver.class=org.postgresql.Driver dataSource.url=jdbc:postgresql://localhost/siems dataSource.user=siems dataSource.password=siems I have to investigate that a bit further (but as it works fine like that for me, I'm not all that motivated).
