did you execute step #4 and #5 of the  section called Maven 
(http://galaxy.andromda.org/docs/starting.html#Maven) ? this is what it says:

4. Go to your  home  directory. (If your login is  foo  this means here:  
C:Documents and Settingsfoo  )

5. Create a file there, called  build.properties  and add the following line in 
there:  
maven.repo.remote=http://www.ibiblio.org/maven,http://team.andromda.org/maven

this will tell maven to also look on the andromda server for the binaries (they 
aren't published on www.ibiblio.org (= the default Maven server))[/code]
