Just as an update - I downloaded the latest snapshot, re-generated the project, and it now works. It looks like indeed there was some missing items from the generated project with the version I was using.
Just as an FYI - I had gone back to the NON-snapshot version on your advice due to a different problem. Apparently, things have progressed since about two weeks ago, so now the snapshot is working better.
