After some emails back and forth with Chad. Chad discovered that I was trying to load my wsdd to an external Axis instance. I had neglected to notice that AndroMDA included Axis in the project ear.
After deploying my project on a fresh install of JBoss 4.0.2, everything worked fine. Thanks again for the help guys.
