the MD5 is what is called a digest (Message Digest), typically used in a security/cryptography context, in this case it simply contains a sequence of bytes after applying the MD5 algorithm to it .. this is a way of making sure the download of the library has succeeded (Maven will calculate the digest of the downloaded library and compare it to the MD5 file it downloaded .. if they are not the same something went wrong during download) you don't need that file in order to continue working -- Wouter Zoons - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.andromda.org/ _________________________________________________________ Reply to the post : http://galaxy.andromda.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3140#3140 Posting to http://forum.andromda.org/ is preferred over posting to the mailing list! ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Discover Easy Linux Migration Strategies from IBM.
