we have a fairly big UML model with a high level organization based on subsystems and models. When we generate code we'd like to be able compute a java package name from the uml subsystem / model / package a class is found in, ideally by applying a regexp substitution. Can this be achieved with andromda? I've seen the hibernate cartdrige uses something like this to define the name of the output file: outputPattern="$generatedFile".
