I am having the same issue as melanie.
I did go through the starting docs, and the spring how-to but at first glance it seemed like a wild goose chase. Although it is a simple to follow guide I think the meat of the message it should convey is somehow hidden within the maven plugin/script in other words all I got from it is just use Maven and viola a project will magically appear. You can't really call that a step-by-step guide, because there seems to be only one step. BTW I am a avid fan of the ever so simple ant. Would you be able to point me to an example of using ant to generate a hbm from a model generated using magicdraw. Here is a list of tasks I would like to acheive (yet find 2 so complex to perform) 1. Create the model (done). 2. Generate hbm file from model. 3. Feed hbm file to hibernate to generate (source and db schema) Step 1 and 3, I can manage, I've already done #3 by maually creating the hbm file. If only step 2 was as simple as calling... generateHbm "model.xml.zip" In other words what is the simplest way of invoking andromeda to generate an hbm file using the hibernate cartridge (preferably using ant) ? _________________________________________________________ Reply to the post : http://galaxy.andromda.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3572#3572 Posting to http://forum.andromda.org/ is preferred over posting to the mailing list! ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Andromda-user mailing list Andromda-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/andromda-user
