I just went through this evaluation process, and have concluded that the MDA 
process in general and AndroMDA specifically WILL aid my project development 
cycle - both short and long term.  There IS a lot to learn, however.  I spent 
almost three weeks of nothing but reading docs and experimenting just to get 
familiar with the system.  I wrote a document to organize my thoughts and to 
help ease the steep learning curve for others.  Wouter has made it part of the 
document system.  Initial release can be found here
