I am new to Angstrom/OE and the layered method. I am coming from the
older gumstix method of building with angstrom/OE. I have DL'd manually
the *cgt6000_7.2.7* file, moved it to sources/downloads. cleaned the
recipe and then re-ran it. It still continually fails to find the
program. It also locks the .bin once it fails then deletes it before
bitbake exits. What is the proper method now for adding files to that
directory, or should they go else where?
Also can someone point me to a link or something that shows how to setup
a user-layer, so I can make changes without effecting updates, or
current proper method. I have tried searching online for both, but I
keep finding the old methods that do not seem to translate to the
layered method.
I do have to say this was the easiest and smoothest build I have ever
done so far, thanks for the great work :)
