[Angstrom-devel] python-shell - available through meta?

I just ran into a last minute problem where some scripts I wrote use the 
python shutil module.

I can install it to the BeagleBone with:
# opkg install python-shell

But this is not available in an openembedded meta.

Is there a trick to getting this installed through a meta?
