Hi Todd--

Still having trouble? What you need to do is change branches in git. For step 1 from the building-angstrom page, you should do these steps:

   git clone git://github.com/Angstrom-distribution/setup-scripts.git
   git checkout angstrom-v2012.12-yocto1.3

That should switch you to the latest branch. From there do the rest of the steps on the building page and you should be on the right branch. You can also do a "git status" to double check you're on the 2012.12-yocto1.3 branch. Personally, I wouldn't bother with the older junk.

Good luck!

Sorry for being a newbie, but I'm trying to track down a problem with connman
and DHCP on beaglebone, and I need some build-system help.

Seems that connmanctl was added in the recent builds of connman.

Angstrom has a pre-historic version of connman in it's repository.
The v2012.05 release has an old version, as you might expect
The v2012.12 release has 1.4
The unstable tree has 1.10
I'm following the instructions that I've found
http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/building-angstrom
http://downloads.angstrom-distribution.org/demo/beaglebone/

but no matter what I do, I'm always building 2012.05. How can I build either
v2012.12, or from the unstable tree?
(Or, if you have a pointer to a page with all of this sort of info, I'd greatly
appreciate it!)

Best Regards,
Todd
