Hi all,

First of all: I'm new to angstrom so please bare with me if I make
stupid questions.

I'm trying to build angstrom kernel sources for a Beagle Bone board
with LCD7 cape support.
So far, I was using latest Texas Instruments PSP kernel sources, but
LCD7 cape is not supported there.

I got the sources from git and, according to the README file, I'm doing

$ MACHINE=beagleboard ./oebb.sh config beagleboard
$ MACHINE=beagleboard ./oebb.sh bitbake virtual/kernel

The first problem is this started doing tons of things, where I only
want the kernel sources.
The second problem is this has been running for 10 hours or so and now
it seems to be stuck here:

[...]
NOTE: Running noexec task 747 of 769 (ID: 57,
virtual:native:/home/zeta/devel/setup-scripts/sources/openembedded-core/meta/recipes-devtools/rpm/rpm_5.4.0.bb,
do_package_write)
NOTE: Running noexec task 749 of 769 (ID: 46,
virtual:native:/home/zeta/devel/setup-scripts/sources/openembedded-core/meta/recipes-devtools/pseudo/pseudo_1.3.bb,
do_package_write)
NOTE: Running noexec task 751 of 769 (ID: 35,
virtual:native:/home/zeta/devel/setup-scripts/sources/meta-angstrom/recipes-updates/git/git_1.7.10.2.bb,
do_package_write)
NOTE: Running noexec task 753 of 769 (ID: 24,
/home/zeta/devel/setup-scripts/sources/openembedded-core/meta/recipes-devtools/quilt/quilt-native_0.51.bb,
do_package_write)

Am I doing anything wrong? What's the best procedure to get and build
*only* the kernel sources for the BeagleBone?

Also notice I'm having some issues with the LCD7 cape, so perhaps it
would be only necessary if someone
could point me out where could I get the most updated patch to support it.

Thanks a lot in advance, and I hope this isn't a stupid question!
