I have a patch that I am testing right now which switches beaglebone and beagleboard to use hardfp ABI how its implemented in OE-Core it comes out to be a machine feature. Since if you set DEFAULTTUNE="cortexa8hf-neon" then its set for all machines in the distro and there is no way to sat append callconvention-hard to TUNE_FEATURES What I have is something like this patch here
