I'm curious if anyone else has tried the latest 3.8.6 kernel on the beagleboard-xm and/or encountered any trouble? So far I've noticed the following:

1) warnings reported in drivers/clk/clk.c (lines 522 and 481) warnings during boot up; the first time is preceded by the following line:
   usbhs_omap usbhs_omap: xclk60mhsp2_ck set parentfailed error:-38

2) omapdss OVERLAY error: check_overlay: paddr cannot be 0
that gets reported twice followed by:
   omapfb omapfb: setup_plane failed

3) the gnome login screen shows only boxes in the text areas instead of the actual letters (like a font is missing or wasn't configured???)

4) my display (10-inch capacitive touch from Chalkboard Elec) times out after a while but will not wake up again--even though the backlight remains on the entire time? this one is especially annoying because the only way I can recover (that I've figured out so far!) is to reset the BBxm

5) systemd-udev reports a segmentation fault during bootup (not everytime though) while handling '/devices/platform/musb-omap2430/musb-hdrc.0.auto/gadget/net/usb0'

I've tried making tweaks to the kernel using the menuconfig stuff but nothing has appeared to make a difference thus far. Anyone have some thoughts on this?!?

Thanks.
