Hi, I have a Beagleboard-C4 running an image created by the systemd-gnome-image.bb recipe. I have the following problems about it:
1) The password-less autologin: As far as i remember it was problematic for me in older versions too. Pressing the 'Automatic login' button on the login screen (GDM) nothing happens (just re-displays the window). I tried to find a solution on the net (setting up the AutomaticLogin and/or TimedLoginEnable in the gdm config, adding a group nopasswdlogin, etc) but no one helped. Please help me how can i configure it. 2) The Mobile Network: I have a USB modem on Vodafone network (K3772) using 2.6.39 kernel. 'lsusb' says: Bus 001 Device 007: ID 19d2:1181 ZTE WCDMA Technologies MSM so modeswitch seems working. The following modules are also loaded: usb_wwan, option, usbserial, cdc_acm After booting in the 'dmesg' i found: [ 34.892974] cdc_acm 1-2.4:1.1: ttyACM0: USB ACM device [ 35.426239] cdc_acm 1-2.4:1.3: ttyACM1: USB ACM device [ 35.878112] usbcore: registered new interface driver cdc_acm [ 35.884155] cdc_acm: v0.26:USB Abstract Control Model driver for USB modems and ISDN adapters [ 36.467285] usbcore: registered new interface driver usbserial [ 36.600036] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): usb0: link is not ready [ 36.883300] USB Serial support registered for generic [ 37.001403] usbcore: registered new interface driver usbserial_generic [ 37.008392] usbserial: USB Serial Driver core [ 37.643188] USB Serial support registered for GSM modem (1-port) [ 37.650207] usbcore: registered new interface driver option [ 37.656158] option: v0.7.2:USB Driver for GSM modems As far as i remember, in my old build there was such a message too: option 1-2.1:1.0: GSM modem (1-port) converter detected usb 1-2.1: GSM modem (1-port) converter now attached to ttyUSB0 option 1-2.1:1.8: GSM modem (1-port) converter detected usb 1-2.1: GSM modem (1-port) converter now attached to ttyUSB1 but these are missing now and i cannot use the Mobile Broadband in the network manager: it does not display any such device. It worked for me with the same kernel and configs in the older versions. What can be wrong here? 3) The Screen Saver: The screen saver is on by default. I tried to switch it off in the Power Management setup (set it to 'never') but it does not help. The screensaver is active yet. The 'consoleblank=0' kernel parameter is also passed to prevent lower level screensaver. How can i switch it off? Thanx in advance György Kövesdi _______________________________________________ Angstrom-distro-devel mailing list Angstrom-distro-devel@linuxtogo.org http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/angstrom-distro-devel
