installing image from unstable/images/spitz/20070512/

I've been having some problems reflashing to angstrom, my earlier
attempts failed because for some reason the Z 3100 didn't want to boot
from the CF slot (tried reformatting card.. all sorts...)

Then I tried a 64MB card, which didn't work even though it was freshly
partitioned and formatted - the kernel was installed but the hdd image
wouldn't extract. The Z wouldn't boot after.

Then I tried a 1GB card and this time it worked.. it reported that the
HDD was RO, and it didn't actually format it. Hmmm. It appears to have
formatted /dev/hda1, and left home untouched, albeit root's home
directory was wiped.

Am I safe in assuming that my Z is not in some inconsistent state? I
don't want to start loading it up and find it's got some half-baked
mix of old OZ3541 and Angstrom!

thanks
Paul
