I installed Angstrom on my Zaurus SL-C760 for the first time last night
and am
very pleased with the results.

Just about everything works out of the box including WIFI. The files I used
are:

Angstrom-x11-image-glibc-test-20070605-c7x0.rootfs.jffs2
zImage-2.6.20-c7x0-20070605084706.bin

The problems I've come across so far are:

- the hardware clock is being set back to 1/1/70 on each reboot. I
notice this
being reported in the kernel boot messages. I thought maybe the hw
clock had
reset due to my Z not having been powered up for several months, but
after a
full charge and issuing 'hwclock -s' it is still reverting back to 1970.

- No sound. Is this a known issue or is it just me? The kernel appears to
recognise the hardware and everything is working as if nothing is
wrong (ie:
mplayer plays mp3's) but no sound is coming out! I tried an earlier
kernel -
zImage-2.6.20-c7x0-20070330105240.bin - but the audio hardware was not
recognised by the kernel with this one.

After years of being disillusioned by distros that just didn't
quite cut it, Angstrom looks like it may be the one that gets it right.

Mark.
