I tried to change the PATH and TEXMFMAIN , TEXMF, TEXMFCNF
without succes
After setting $TEXMFCNF to /usr/share (because the file texmf.cnf is located at
/usr/share/texmf.cnf) I got the following when executing:

And I still got the following error when i execute:

This is TeX, Version 3.141592 (Web2C 7.5.4)

fmtutil: config file `fmtutil.cnf' not found.
I can't find the format file `tex.fmt'!
It seems that tcfmgr cannot find tcfmgr.map in $TEXMFMAIN/texconfig (that I
set to /usr/share/texmf)
But I found the file /usr/share/texmf/texconfig/tcfmgr.map which is readable
and fmtutil cannot find fmtutil.cnf which is located in /usr/share
I DONT UNDERSTAND
