Hi, Terry, and welcome!

It's been a while since I wrestled with this, and I have since
switched to pdaXii13, since the applications I need are not yet
working well in Angstrom, and I don't have the technical background
needed to get them working. I did manage to get Wi-Fi running, though.

If you look in the archives for a thread called "WPA question(s)"
from back in July, you will find a lot of advice that was very
helpful to me in setting up my WI-FI. I am using WPA rather than WEP
(I recommend that you look into it - WEP is totally insecure) but the
principles are the same except for the wpa_supplicant stuff.

I will say that I had very little luck with my WCF-11 using WPA
because the firmware needed to be upgraded, and I don't have the
ability to flash newer firmware onto the card, so I replaced it with
an Ambicom WL1100CF, which was working fine in Angstrom.

Best of luck - and keep posting. The folks on this list are the best!

Walt
