I know it's bad form to answer one's own post, but..... Here I am one hour later. I put aside my C3200 that is working well with pdaXii13, and retrieved my C1000 from the person I gave it to, since he wasn't using it.
Then I got the 20070909 build of Angstrom - thank you for putting it all in those nice packages - and flashed the C1000. Since I now have no network connection until the WI-FI card is working (with WPA) I went to the feed directory, and got the wpa-gui ipks and put them on the SD card, and tried to install. As expected, it had a few unsatisfied dependencies, so I went back and got libstec++6 and libqt-mt3 and put them on the SD card. Back on the Zaurus, I tried installing the library files. Of course THEY have unresolved dependencies: libgll libmux6 and I can't find them anywhere on the unstable/feed directories. In addition, although libstdc++6 said it installed correctly, it failed in cinfiguring: /tmp/ipkg - intercept-2489-0/ldconfig: /tmp/ipkg-intercept-2489=0/ leconfig: i: ldconfig: not found I don't know what to make of that, but I also can't find ldconfig anywhere in the feeds. So, while I REALLY want to get Angstrom working, as I said a few posts back, it seems to be beyond my ability to do so. If anyone has any helpful suggestions, I will keep trying.
