Hi,

I am planning to set up an WiFi-phone as VoIP client for my asterisk server
with Digium TDM400p. Regular wifi SIP phones do not fit, as they don't allow
enough customization.

Here is list of requirements I have for the WiFi phone+software:

   - To have long battery life in stand-by mode (over WiFi)
   - Use SIP protocoll for connections to asterisk server
   - Show image of caller (if available)
   - Pronounce name of the caller using speaker (if available)
   - Allow selection and playback of a server-stored media (especially
   mp3)
   - Can be bought today in major retail shops
   - Is reliable enough, so I can entrust my business phone calls to it.
   - Be extensible (software-wise)

I am thinking to use Nokia N800 with GizmoProject client
http://gizmoproject.com/ for that.

As the GizmoProject is not 100% opensource, and I am a bit wary of Maemo
platform, I wonder whether there is Angstrom-based solution
(hardware+software) that can satisfy aforementioned requirements.
