I just installed the x-11-image on a SD card for my h2200, booting it from wince with haret. It was working fine, I set up usb networking and could modprobe g_ether with no problem, get the usbnet just fine, and then did a ipkg update and ipkg upgrade. Now when I try to load the g_ether module, I get a kernel panic:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ modprobe g_ether [ 547.140000] ether gadget: using random self ethernet address [ 547.150000] ether gadget: using random host ethernet address [ 547.170000] Kernel panic - not syncing: devinet: Failed to create loopbak[ 547.170000] None of the above was in the console message earlier when I loaded the module. Also inserting a prism wifi cf card crashes the system as well. Did somebody change something with the g_ether module? Previously usbnet worked great at least with the x-11-image, but did this system crash (without any of the above message however) with both the gpe-minimilist and uclibc images. Is there an earlier kernel or g-ether module I can regress to? -- Harmon Seaver _______________________________________________ Angstrom-distro-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/angstrom-distro-users
