After a fresh install on a SD card, I tried doing a ipkg upgrade, first with the stock 2007 feed, then with the 2008 feed. That resulted in a system that reboots okay -- to the serial console prompt anyway, but the ipaq screen just blinks on and off, impossible to log in there. I can log in at the serial prompt, but either loading g_ether or inserting the wifi card results in a hung sytem, with the same error message on the serial console as reported earlier.
