This is priority #1 for me to sort out.
Well, I have a slightly better picture of what's really going on now, and the good news is that there's a workaround: 1. On your Zaurus, edit /etc/init.d/opie and add the following line after the other "export" lines: export QWS_CURSOR_ROTATION=90 2. If you used the Opie text editor to do the above you'll then need to fix the permissions using this shell command: chmod +x /etc/init.d/opie 3. Reboot your Z (*don't* just restart Opie). You can do this from the "Shutdown" icon under the Settings tab. This will work for spitz, but there's a chance it will still be rotated incorrectly on other devices. If that's the case just change the line from 90 to 180 or 270 and then reboot again. I will issue corrected packages once I've figured out the correct solution (at which point you will need to undo the above workaround). FYI I have reopened OE bug #3678 that covers this issue: http://bugs.openembedded.net/show_bug.cgi?id=3678 Cheers, Paul _______________________________________________ Angstrom-distro-users mailing list Angstrom-distro-users@linuxtogo.org http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/angstrom-distro-users
